What's on this Christmas
We really hope you can join us this Christmas. The season of Advent is well under way as we celebrate each Sunday with a worship service at 11am. This is followed by a time of Fellowship in the Hall for tea, coffee and a mince pie and a chance to chat.
On Christmas Eve we are delighted to be once again able to have a fun filled Family Service at 6.30pm. This will have lots of songs, games and a telling of the Natvity story as you have never seen it before. You are encouraged to wear your most festive outfits, Christmas jumpers, Oodies, or come in your PJs so you are ready for bed before Santa arrives.
Later on Christmas Eve at 11.15pm we have a Candlelit Watchnight Service. This is a more reflective service beginning with Ginger Wine, Shortbread and Carol singing before we keep vigil into Christmas. The church is lit by candles and each person will receive a candle to be lit at midnight creating a wonderful atmosphere. It is a beautiful way to remember the real reason for Christmas, the birth of Christ, and prepare for the festivities the next day.
On Christmas Day we have a short service at 10.30am to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We would love you to bring and show us any of the gifts you have received.
Everyone is very welcome to any of the services, whether you have ever set foot in church before or not. We hope to see you and will make you very welcome.
